How to remove mold spots on the surface of die-casting aluminum? Let's take a brief look below:

1、 Shot blasting method, shot blasting is a cold treatment process that can be divided into shot blasting finishing and shot blasting strengthening. Shot blasting finishing literally means to remove impurities such as oxide skin on the surface of die-casting aluminum and improve surface quality. Shot blasting strengthening is the process of deceiving high-speed moving bullets to continue charging and strengthening the surface of the workpiece, forcing the target material surface and surface to undergo the following transformations during cyclic deformation:

1. Modification of microstructure structure;

2. The uneven plastic deformation introduces residual compressive stress in the outer layer, while residual tensile stress occurs in the inner surface layer;

3. The external surface roughness undergoes a transformation. However, the sensitivity of shot blasting is poor, and due to location limitations, there is some confusion when organizing the workpiece, which can easily lead to blind spots on the inner surface of the workpiece that cannot be organized. The equipment has a complex structure and a large number of vulnerable parts, with unique features such as fast wear and tear of blades and other parts, high maintenance time, high costs, and large one-time investment.

2、 Sandblasting method, which uses sandblasting to treat the surface of die-casting aluminum, is a process of organizing and roughening the substrate surface by exploiting the impact of high-speed sand flow. The shrinking air is used as the power to cause the high-speed radiation beam to radiate the sprayed materials (copper ore, quartz sand, carborundum, iron ore, Hainan sand) to the surface of the workpiece to be treated at a high speed, so that the surface or form of the workpiece can be changed, the impact force is great, and the finishing effect is obvious. However, sandblasting can easily deform thin sheet workpieces, and the impact of steel balls on the surface of the workpieces can cause deformation of the metal substrate. After fracture, it peels off, and the oil film and substrate deform together. Therefore, sandblasting cannot completely eliminate workpieces with oil stains and mold spots.
